My Steemit experience on recovering my account for new users.

I registered my account on Steemit in 2017 after a frequent use of my account for about 3months.
I went on a 2 year long hiatus.
During this period I changed my phone.
My password was not saved on any cloud storage like Google.
I thought I lost my Steemit account.
After this 2 years of not being able to access my Steemit account.
I tried logging in to my account but all to no avail.
After browsing aimlessly the Steemit page and I could not get access to my Steemit account
I somehow ended up in the change account password page on Steemit.
And I was greeted by a cynical message.

"First rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
Second rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
Third rule of Steemit is: We cannot recover your password.
Fourth rule: If you can remember the password, it's not secure.
Fifth rule: Use only randomly-generated passwords.
Sixth rule: Do not tell anyone your password.
Seventh rule: Always back up your password."

Now I have floated all of these rules.
I thought I lost my account for good.
Then I was checking my Google drive a few days ago then voila.
I saw a picture of my password hanging around on my drive.
I was so overjoyed after months of futile search, I was finally able to access my account.
I want to advise new users of Steemit to always make sure to backup up there password and also write out their password or print out a copy.
I hope this helps all new users of Steemit
Goodluck
