Is it the time to call out all the scams running under the hood before it's too late?
I have just done reading a post by somebody about a scammy whale here's a link to that. This made me think about how many more scams are running under the hood just for the purpose of personal profit at any and all cost, nothing more, while new bloggers and actually talented artists, writers, comedians, and bloggers in general are frustrated and starving to death for as much a comment or view to their posts?
I mean don't get me wrong I have nothing personal against anybody or anything on steemit platform or otherwise and I am just trying to understand and in a way express the bigger picture here? Forget about all the morality and ethics I am going to discuss about just the logic and logic itself with it's practical implementation. I haven't yet read the white-paper published about steem ecosystem so trust me even if I try I can't be biased or anything.
I mean for a second just try and think beyond steemit. Think about things in general, what happened to any community in the past that had some scammers involved in it for cashing out all the vulnerabilities and got away with all their little schemes?
What happened to those people and to those communities? Where are they now? Even the most reputed organizations have to answer and pay the price of their blunders at some point how people on this community even for a second get confused that they will get away with it all like a motherfucker? And can they actually?
A lot of people work too hard and never get noticed here but they are actually truly gaining something in a long run for life what are these scammers gaining besides bad reputation and defame?
Is it that time when people actually try and put all this to an end one way or another? Maybe some sort of forking will fix this disaster? Split the community into two halves come up with another variant of steem currency that can be used to just for the sake of investment and not influencing the creativity? Not making money out of the gullibility, vulnerabilities and work around of such sort? I mean I am a very simple man and I don't even think if I have any rights to say that here, I am just trying to express my thoughts since it's obvious something shady is going on somewhere in the community and it has a potential to ruin the whole thing in a long run.
Is there any way out there that can fix the cancer before it spreads everywhere and kill the host? I am really hoping that there should be!
