Steemit account procedures

Hi all this is my first post and so I thought I would discuss the account sign up procedures with steemit. First there is the delay while I do understand their point for the delay but it would have been nice to specify that on my sign up page up front without having to go searching through the FAQ. Second I don't like the fact that Seemit is generating my password with their own algorithm. I would prefer to have the option to use my own password generator (aka KeepassXC) to manage my password. If the individuals browser is compromised the password can be captured on the page. Also the algorithm Steemit is using does not include special characters. At least the algorithm does generate a long password. Third can Steemit add an editable dropdown list to select commonly used tags? Beyond that so far so good. I hope to have a good time here and can't wait to start posting in earnest.
