Collaborating and Debating both generate steem. You are rewarded either way. And many of you have wondered, "Will steem ever let us advertise or have ads?" MAYBE BABY! So let's do this! HERE IS HOW ADVERTISING *MIGHT* WORK, here on steemit.com:

Let steemit users advertise their steem post by paying steem to steemit.com who distributes the advertising revenue equally as steem to ALL valid steemit users, regardless of steampower or popularity. Viewers of the post do not have to upvote it if it is garbage. So there is a chance of loss. The advertising will evolve to become always good advertised content! 

NOTE: only 1 small box ad will be shown, under tags and topics to the right, which will not detract much at all from the same size images of trending steemits on the left. 

POSSIBLE REQUIREMENT: Steemit users can only claim this daily ad dividend if they upvote *and* comment one post per day. While steem tends to dissipate to everyone around, you gotta be there to breathe it in.

Basically, if you are a person who thinks steemit users might need to hear an important message from you, or you want our extra special steemit user target market to buy from you, THEN even if you do not think your post will be upvoted (controversial content, salesy etc.) - at least now you have the chance to be heard! (NOTE: 3% of viewers buying your services could be massive steem income, if you ever want to sell something for steem that is... But 3% of steemers upvoting wont ever make you go viral enough to get a lot of views.) Does anyone know the metrics required to "snowball" to the top of the trending feed? Steemit is an all or nothing snowball blog system, and steemit users who can't get a viral golden snowball should still get to profit a tad bit more evenly from steemit. I am especially considering the steemit users who cannot get $30,000 for making a 6 minute video of them doing something they probably already do every day of their life anyways - or because they weren't born with big boobs, well... now THEY TOO will be able to profit! @dan @ned @dantheman @smooth @berniesanders @steem @steemit, UPVOTE THIS DEVS! and STEEM ON...

This new advertising idea I have created we shall now call the STEEM ENGINE:

P.S. I am ok if the idea is rejected, but it's fun to throw around possible developments of an infant project like this. I was a steemit critiquer but I now see that even an account with only $10 worth of steem can suddenly earn $1000's of dollars and since the makeup video that infuriated everyone has passed, most of the posts are actually GOOD and INFORMATIVE - and thus I am pleased - not to mention STEEM is continuing to trend up in price, I see no reason why anyone would waste time posting on facebook anymore. On facebook you have to PAY for more viewers... On STEEM if your content is good enough you GET PAID... Over there, you can only spout hot air! HERE, you get to fume STEEM!
