Why would anybody buy this shitcoin?

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

This looks terrible, doesn't it? Buyers are gone, only a little dumping going on, volume dried out.
And the people feeling in charge for the mess have nothing better to do than to piss off more people

This has nothing to do with social media anymore, it became a place for nerds and wannabes, its boring, so fucking BORING! You sold out to IDIOTS. Interesting people are all long gone.

BLOGGING IS DEAD! You're beating a dead horse. I really hope the management grabs it really soon and curbs the activities of the board Nazis here, and drives some interesting content. Not something that gets voted on, but something real people actually would like to READ.

All these very important bloggers didn't earn nothing anywhere else, for a reason. Nobody is interested in boring crap.
Now that they make good money here its certain that they don't want to give it up again. What a fucking mess you made of this good idea.

You're missing out on the most valuable metrics on this site, which is VIEWS.
You fancy to release some real Analytics data? I'd really like to see that.

You'd get a clue if you would act according to your data. Find out, what is voted on and what new users actually click on when they come here first. I bet theres two parties having nothing to do with each other.

Because it is best to buy low and sell high

Whats low, 20 sats? Metric curves are flatlining, wait until the apex, then a run for the exit will start.
Sales revenues won't be enough to cover the operating costs.

Just wait till these bloggers that are earning between $5,000 and $50,000 a week start cashing out. I don't care how popular you are or how good your writing skills are, these folks are making more in one month then some authors earn from a book or novel. Eventually this money is going to get dumped back into the market. There are going to be some huge dumps that wreak havoc on the exchanges. I'll be shocked if I'm wrong about that. The devs should of taken that into consideration when creating the payout and voting system.

I hate to say it but the worst trade decicion that ever happened in my life was steemit. I held on to my NXTs until steem and steem dollars pop out of nowhere... i dumped everything a month later to minimized losses... still waiting for signs before i invest back in... Buy, Hold, Sell?

kingofchaos So well said upvoted and followed

Well I like your post and I have to agree the site has lost a lot of what it had going for it simply because the self censorship of Statists has been rewarded and promoted by the the Vigilante groups imposing Copyright and PC garbage on us all.

Copyright is not something that deserves any kind of respect and I have more respect for those trying to bypass it by posting copyrighted content than I do for the Vigilante groups.

Same goes for the PC police though they seem to be the same crowd.

As I've said before, I'm not worried though. The platform promised censorship resistance and it's mostly failed to support and promote those who had the most to gain from censorship resistance.

As long as the Cat Memes and Recipe Ideas make money while someone sharing a copyright for a water powered engine is flagged, chances are high that something better will come along and Steem will just have been another good idea that got superseded.

"Whatcha doing honey"
"Just reading an interesting post on Steem"
"What's it about"
"How there's nothing interesting on Steem"

:P gota run cioa for now

Thanks, nice to know theres still some intelligent people around here.

I think it's the best moment to buy, indeed.
Maybe I will only wait some more before it recovers (and I bet it will).

Based on what? Growth came to a halt. Maybe a little pump coming for a new version release, thats it.

If you see the very first candle you will see the all-time low there.
The price is touching that point, which will become a support, hopefully.
I also think that Steem has a big and growing community behind it so it will not fall down forever.

I don't think so. Why would there be support suddenly? For what? Nothing is growing anymore, except more mis-management and delegation of power to delusional amateurs. PC and ignorance is ruling, narrow minded suckers won again and destroyed it.
They had their chance, they pissed it away. The system is alright, but what they made of it is quite poor. Maybe a clone could do better.

I am up for making a clone of steem with new specifications:

  • low inflation
  • not possible to vote-trade (if you upvoted me and I upvote you, both votes will go to zero)
  • more clarity on design of money streams...

I am a programmer but very little experience in c++, anybody with c++ (or other experience) want to do this with me??

Check the price chart compared to dollars! Steem/dollars... then you will see another picture! The price is pretty stabile.

Unless ofcourse you argue that the dollar is also falling!! :)
