Terrible Performance!

The nicest thing about Steemit is, that its evolution is fairly good documented.
The data is very disappointing though. Nothings changing.
Everything visible is just going one way, down.

All efforts promoted as solutions are built around the current mess. None of the people in charge would change anything substantial. Its not in their interest, it would hurt their standing.
They preferably gonna milk this cow until it's certain death.

I really wonder, whether its justified to call it a scam already. The way it was introduced and it is maintained never added any value to the platform, only to its insiders, on the back of the successors.
So thats a Ponzi Scheme, right, ugly word, isn't it?

You call yourself a social media platform, but refuse to look at how your users would like to interact with each other, pretending its for the better of the system. It seems like user interaction and freedom of use is the least of your concerns. Factually, every measure you've taken was curbed by one condition, to keep the eggs together as long and as close as possible and cut off as much capital as you could.

In the real world, which you pretend to address, your projection just doesn't work.
The picture on the wall is dim and has a lot of blind spots. The system itself is fine, well done.
But most people in charge for the project are still talking out of their arses.
Thats either intentional, or by incapability. Either way, its happening by management.

It couldn't take too long now, until the novelty focus completely turns away.
Either thru a clone, or by a competitor with a proprietary system.

Cheers

kingofchaos So sad the developers could be billionaires but will only be mere millionaires by the time they milk this dry . jmho

Scam? Ponzi? Meh... a bit harsh there.

Read this to see how it all started and judge from the beginning: https://steemit.com/steem/@joseph/the-history-of-steem-steemit-launch-in-the-words-of-dan-larimer-from-the-early-launch-days

It's a beta work in progress.

I have invested $300 of BTC at first to get a jump on SP, but it's not much, I have earned way more than I paid into. I've only been here a month so far. I have had success, how? Because I actually create real meaningful high quality content to change ourselves and the world, and it gets recognized as such.

It's not free easy money. You have to actually create valuable content. Otherwise, yeah, you can moan about how unfair it is, and it is in a certain sense. But that's life. Don;t expect a free lunch anywhere. The people who got in early and are still here, want to keep what they have, for sure. Maybe more changes are coming to make things easier for people to get recognized, maybe not. I don't view it as a ponzi. Other crypto's are. This is currency is backed by something real: content that exists, not just mined coins with nothing behind it.

For those who are patient, work the platform, and buy low this time, when it skyrockets in success in months or years, they will reap the rewards of buying low and selling high.

Take care. Peace.
