True Colors

True Colors
I look back at my life with
Glory in my eyes shining
As if I have the worlds
Most beautiful,
Mysterious, and unknown
Galaxy with in them.
I too have felt heartbreak
As we all have felt heart-
Break, but I have picked
Myself up time and time again
To remind myself that
I am beautiful.
With losses of friendships
Greater than that of the
gain, this world has began
To feel so deeply cold
To the touch.
I have come to realize those
True to my journey that
I am paving through this world
We all call home and with each step
I begin knowing where my true colors
Lie within this simple but yet
So chaotic world.
They lie with the very smiles
My presence brings to
This world, with the courage
Within me to be true through my
Darkest hours, and with
The reliability in which I give
To those who lay permanent stomping
Grounds upon my heart, mind,
And soul.
For they are the reason
I will forever stay true to my
Colors of life. With one
Foot in front of the other I shall
Wear my heart on my sleeve
With pride for that is
Me being true to who I am
And what my true colors are.
Never again shall I go
Changing with the season
But yet I shall be
Chasing ocean waves from
The east coast to the
West coast.
While dancing
Warm weathers from
The deserts of sun-valley to
The mountain tops that
Lay at the feet of heavens
doors
