I am leaving Steemit until changes are made
I had a great time on Steemit for the first 5 months, but the platform has rapidly declined in the last 2 months. Everybody that enjoys my content has left. Mostly just the hard-core crypto fans are left which does not include my target audience. Additionally, the bots have ruined the reward pool leading to the few upvotes I get to be almost worthless. If bots are banned or Steem booms again, I will consider rejoining.
My suggestion would be to just hang in there. Everything is down right now but I personally feel if you give it up now, you will regret it. It's tough starting out getting your post noticed. I try to comment and upvote those who support me. You basically have to do a lot of networking and connect with groups of like mind. Discord is a great place to do this. Once you reputation starts moving up, you will see a lot more action on your posts if they are vote worthy..

It's not all about money, it's about the amazing people I connect with all around the world..It also helps me more creative and opens my heart to making more connected relationships. Much has to do with cryptocurrency prices going down so much. When the price was all time high in january this year there was much interest in cryptocurrency and altcoins. People tried out steemit and now most people are gone. But i don't think steemit is doomed, and it takes a while to build a social network. Facebook was also not build in 1 day. Steemit is still in beta.
