Intresting facts about solar power.

Over the years electricity demand has increase over the demand of other source of energy. In other to meet up with this we need to improve on the development of renewable energies especially solar.
Solar power is the conversation of energy from direct sunlight into electricity by PV ( photovoltaic ) system or concentrated solar power (concentrated solar thermal) and much more.

Photovoltaic cell : is a device that converts light into electronic current using photovoltaic system. It use solar panels, roof top or ground base model.

Concentrated solar power/ thermal : uses lenses and taking the system to concentrated sunlight, then using the resulting heat to generate electricity from steam.

      How does solar works.
 Solar panels include some cells that help you convert direct sunlight heat into useable electricity immediately in your home. Once u have solar panels and tesla walls you can store excess energy even after Sun set for use. Helping you reduce some utilities cost. There are other ways solar can be applied which will be discussed below.

    Cost of solar power.

The cost of solar power as at the 1980s was $96 but as at early 2016 it cost $1.65 per watt. Given us a better chance of solar power installation. Also knowing that the PV system uses no fuel leaving us with panels of 25 - 40 years warrant

       How solar power has positively affected some economy's.
    China is known to be the world largest producing Photovoltaic and solar thermal energy. Since 2013 China has being the country with highest installation of solar photovoltaics. The world as invested $2.9 trillion with China leading with its push to solar power. solar power attracted $160.8 billion of investment, more than any other technology. China, where a staggering 53 GW was added and $86.5 billion invested, was described as a "driving power" behind the increase in solar. China invested the highest amount on renewable energies as at last year on billions of dollars.

Now in US over millions of home uses roof solar power helping them reduce 10% of there cost.In the U.S., investment fell by 6 percent to $40.5 billion, while Europe saw its investments come in at $40.9 billion, a 36 percent reduction.

   Advantages of solar power.

• Renewable sources of energy. As long as we have access to the Sun.
• Reduces electricity bills.
• Technology development.
• Helps generate revenue for government.
• Diverse application (photovoltaics or solar thermal ).
  Disadvantages of solar power.
• Weather dependent. Leaving the cold areas with some less privilege of it during some season of the year.
• Uses a lot of space. Solar depends on the more electricity you want to produce the more panels you will need.
• Associated with pollution. Installation of solar systems have been associated with the emission of greenhouse gases.

Note the more electricity you need, the more solar panels you will need to install.
