Betting Upvoting Bots is not ease game: Resemble Horse Racing

in #steemit7 years ago

Started gaming with 14 SBD and won 6, but on my second bet I lost 2.5 SBD. What did I do wrong? What happen? Well a bunch of Problems, let´s make them known:

  • First, I reduced my Bots and only bid on 4 rather than several, and I guess that is a mistake

  • The Tool http://steembottracker.com, although very good, it has severe problems with inaccurate data. This is the second time my hands get burn. I will continue to use it to alert me about incoming Upvoting Events, but I will take its data with a fork. I am building my own procedure, but it is quite complex. That will be the subject of another post.

  • Third, And this is a huge mistake. Bidding old posts. The Bid has to be just immediately after posting. Otherwise the BOT will take a 25% CUT of the Upvote which will heavily impact the final earnings.

Looks like the first time I won 5 out of 14 SBD was just pure luck. However I am analyzing what I did and comparing to my current lost. So far I have identified a Premium Bot and a Lousy one. But the fault falls to the Bottracker tool for presenting wrong data.
