I Want The BUY Function Back In My Wallet! - Major Steemit Glitch
So I wrote a few days ago about how the "Buy" function is gone from my Steemit wallet and days later, it's still not there, but it's showing up in OTHER people's wallets just fine!
Here's the button that used to show up:
When STEEM dropped out around $1.60 the other day I wanted to buy a bunch up but had no option to do so. I had to go to Poloniex and make an account.
But I want STEEM Power!
So here are the facts...
Yes, there is a "buy" option in the dropdown when I click on my STEEM. It brings me to BlockTrades.
BlockTrades then asks me for my account address. Putting"@JoshSigurdson" doesn't work. It says the account doesn't exist.
Trying to find a long form address to send money to doesn't work neither because my address only showed when I was able to click "Buy STEEM" before it disappeared.

I've seen that a few people have had this problem, but many DO have the button, so it makes no sense to me. How is it a maintenance issue when some have it buy others don't?

Isn't your username all lower case? mine's @blaineb for example, I see yours is capitalized, just a shot in the dark.
It doesn't matter either way technically, but I've tried both as well, neither work unfortunately.
I didn't even know you could buy steemit
