Tell us how you really feel. I've done work on youtube for years, and I too have to admit that its rules are ever changing and seems to differ from channel to channel. Its like a case by case situation where the bots and human checkers dont agree. If you post the same video on separate channels, one might be flagged for stupid reasons and the other is still monetizable.
The only reason I still use youtube is because they have a higher traffic rate then dailymotion. Nobody surfs on dailymotion. If there is any it comes in the form of search engines and social media.
