PS5, Xbox Series X Component Shortages To Last Until Mid-2022 Or Later!

Foxconn's chairman recently said chip shortages could remain an issue until mid-2022, which will likely affect PS5 and Xbox Series X|S shipments. And no one has been able to offer a concrete answer as to when exactly the situation will improve.

Right now, things aren't looking so good. If even the heavyweights are estimating a lengthy holdup on components, relatively lower priority brands like PlayStation and Xbox will continue to struggle in their attempts to secure supplies.
