RE: Everything you Need to Get Started Fast with Steemit, Social Media that Pays [Complete Tutorial with Screencast]
What is it about the introduce-yourself posts that draw so much attention? Is it the feeling of a profile like on other social media, or do you think it has to do with the genuine feeling of the posts themselves?
This place is brand-new. And it has no established vibe yet, really. It's totally wide open. So, when we meet the people involved in it, it starts building that vibe. I think that's part of it.
Also, this place could still fail. It needs new people to survive, since everything revolves around content creation. So it's important to welcome new people in.
Finally, I think people didn't know what else to do. An introduction is the starting point for every human relationship.
That's my sense of it.
