!WARNING - STEEMIT - MODIFICATION IN THE STEEM POWER -50% - WARNIGN!
For those who do not know the STEEM POWER (SP) determines the reward that each user receives or gives with their vote, it is a basic principle of steemit. Until recently the relationship was that a user with 2000 SP could give an upvote of 100% that would provide a reward of $ 1 (0.25 SP for curators, 0.375 SBD and 0.1SP for the author) approximately.
This has been very useful for many (for those who do not?) For the platform itself. Not because it was generating many currencies (although I do not know much if that affects for good or for bad), but because through the services of bot votes was promoting many junk publications. or bad contents.
This I had already warned in the post
https://steemit.com/mony/@jesusjacr/how-to-make-a-lot-of-money-in-steemit-sbd-steem-sp-much-much-mony
I reiterate that I am not against the use of bots or mechanisms to achieve profits, but that they are about good content. The essence of steemit has been largely lost, I can see that I get fewer visits in my publications than I did when I was starting. So most people have been depraved behind money instead of rewarding good content. Even when the bots existed it was no longer (for many) about publishing or rewarding intellect, but rather ** sending the appropriate amount to the bot to give you a vote of enormous profit **.
Some of the creators of bot like @themarkymark implemented their own debugging system through a blacklist, however it is not yet a system implemented by all bots. It is true that steemit is a platform that is in beta. That's why it's the perfect time to learn and correct.
Then I may not be right but I have noticed that steemit has introduced some recent improvements to the system, one easy to notice is that you can now visualize the rewards divided into SBD and SP. The other one that in the ambitious sense is harmful for all, but in the sense of the welfare of the platform is the best solution to the problem posed is that the SP value was reduced to 50% !!NICE @steemit !!.
I clarify that your steem are still there and it is still the same amount you can acquire through Power Down. What was modified in the platform is the reward they give. If previously with 2000SP a vote of 100% gave 1 $, now only gives 0.5 $, At first I thought it was something that had to do with the price drop of cryptocurrencies, but they have recovered enough and the system is still same. Now those who send money to the bot in large quantities will get long-term losses, if @upme gave $ 1500 with 100% and received $ 500 per round each user received an average of 3x of their shipment to collect it because of the division of curators and separation of SP and SBD was receiving almost the same as shipping and his profit was the SP obtained and of course the fact that he managed to get his post noticed.
Now @upme with 3000SP gives a 100% vote of approximately $ 750 (use steemnow) if you receive $ 500 each user will receive losses, I think it is a pretty intelligent correction and I really applaud it.
Then remember that we must make the correct use of the platform to avoid damaging it since we are all benefiting from it.
Public quality content. Support quality content And if you like what you read remember to use the upvote - reesteem - follow functions to support the writer.
I leave you a greeting and a hug.
The reward has been halved? Am I reading this correctly?
The power of voting based on SP. With the same SP that you have now, a 100% vote of yours is worth 50% less than if you had voted 15 days ago.
