Hello fellow Steemians!

As I'm sure is true for most (if not all) of you as well, I really, really love steemit!

Today I want to make a quick post reflecting on the Top 10 Things I've already gained directly from steemit after only 20 days.

Here they are:

#10 - More STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM POWER!!!!!

#9 - Getting the inside scoop on the latest crypto news. Steemit has quickly become my main hub for keeping my finger on the pulse of the crypto community.

#8 - Motivation to get back into writing again. Writing is something that I always loved but over the years, I've pushed it to the side as other things have taken priority. Now with steemit, I have a newfound motivation to practice something that I really enjoy doing again. It's awesome!!!

#7 - Learned about EOS and have since invested in the ico, all because of steemit!

#6 - Learned about another blockchain based social network that's still in its alpha stage. It's called Akasha. I'm currently having some technical issues getting it to work properly but am glad I found out about it so early through steemit.

#5 - Found out about the 100x Blockchain Investors Summit Webinar in August, organized by a fellow steemian.

#4 - Scored a free ticket to the 100x Blockchain Investors Summit Webinar in August!!!!! I'm really looking forward to attending and to get deeper into crypto investing & increasing my knowledge and understanding of the whole space.

#3 - Past the 100 follower milestone!

#2 - Increased motivation to delve back into self-improvement/self-development stuff again. In the past, I was really interested in this and read all kinds of books about it. This time I plan to blog about it more and more.

And the number one benefit is.......drum roll.....

#1 - Starting to make some great connections with people on here. I plan to take my time and really get to know people. It's refreshing to have come across this community of diverse people but with similar interests in many ways. I feel that cryptos is something that really binds us all on here and even though some of us are more into cryptos then others....we all at least have steem (and probably a love for steem) in common. :)

Hmmm... I almost can duplicate this post while describing my own , personal impresions , feelings and achievements. But ... you were the FIRST. Congratulations !
p.s.
the only things I did not found were that Akasha, and August seminar ticket.
Keep in up steeming !

That's awesome!

Thanks and you keep on steeming too :)

How is Akasha working out for you? Even for me Steemit has me very motivated to come here and write regularly. It makes me happy to share my thoughts and read the engagement on my posts. It's also been a fantastic place to meet new people and make friends and meet them at SteemFest! :)

Akasha was really awesome...then I got locked out of my account. There's a technical issue I'm trying to sort out and it all stems from the fact that it's not yet accessible on the main Ethereum blockchain from a website. It's running on a private node and there's software that you need to download to your computer (and be able to troubleshoot) in order to access it. It's not currently in the most user friendly state right now (for users that do not have the sometimes advanced tech skills necessary to navigate through various issues/glitches that come up). My plan is to keep troubleshooting and if I can't figure it out, I'll just wait until the Beta release when it goes onto the main Ethereum blockchain and is accessible through a website. It definitely holds promise though, I think.

Yeah, steemit is just so awesome! I totally agree. That's great that you went to SteemFest! I'm going to have to attend that at some point in time. I might wait until one springs up in Canada or the US though, which I'm sure will happen at some point (likely in the US before Canada though).

I see. I havent used Akasha yet. I barely get time away from this place haha! Maybe I'll give it a try later this week to see how it works.

I would recommend making it to the Lisbon one if you can manage it! It will be a lot of fun! :)

I'm interested to see how it goes for you....both Akasha and the SteemFest in Lison! I wish I could make Lisbon but maybe next time.

You number 8 and 1 are the min reasons I am still here. Glad to habe you nd hopefully you stick around.

Thanks, yes I definitely plan on sticking around! I'm really glad I met you on here too and hope to stay connected with you and will keep checking up regularly on your awesome posts!

Welcome! I wish you much success.

Thanks, @freiheit50, much appreciated! Yes, that's an excellent idea...I would love to branch out more, starting with you and read posts from people who have written in other languages but just use google translate to understand them! Thanks for the upvote and follow and I look forward to following you too and getting to know you better!

Totally vibin on your top 10 list. Especially number 1. There's so many smart and talented people on here from all over the planet, who all want to connect and better themselves and each other.

Yeah, I love it here...maybe a little too much as it's a bit addictive....but oh, well :)
