What is this GrumpyCat thing? Is it abusive? Can I benefit from it?

Yesteday while I was reading posts from my feed, I noticed that some of the posts were flagged by @GrumpyCat because according to him, the user sent money from a non-GrupyCompliant service to buy votes. Well I really don't know what happens next when he flagged your post.

But my main point is, is this stuff a good thing or a bad thing? Can small Steemit users like me benefit from this as well? Can some explain to me what are these stuff? Because I've seen posts where people argued if this matter is cool or not. HAHA sorry I'm just a newbie. I just want to know the important details from this platform.

Some the users I follow got a grumpy cat too! They are @jerrybenfield and @joeparys. I know that this stuff is about those whale votes and bots, but I really never had an idea about those kinds of shits. If you can see my account, there are no interaction with whales, so If someone is good enough to teach me, please do. I have been looking for a mentor after all.
