Another step to free society

Today I joined steemit community. I'll probably leave facebook forever from this day or any other social media. There are some specific reasons I'll do that which I'm stating below. But first I have to thank the developers of steemit to create such community where the members of the community are the shareholders of the website. Many many thanks to @jerry from whom I learnt about steemit and cryptocurrency.

I personally believe steemit is developed based on ethereum technology where they have their own language to create apps or programs where the users of the apps are the owners of the app not some corps. I personally believe this will give us security in social media world where most of the companies out there are just trying to steal our data and feeding them to all of their ad providers. In facebook I saw people providing all of their infos. What a piece of joke! Facebook is even trying to even get bio from its users recently. I think websites like steemit will put a great impact on social media and there should also be a messaging app like this where my messages are delivered through blockchain. If somebody knows about a messaging app please let me know. As a programmer now I'm completely determined to learn the language of ethereum and develop a video sharing platform out of it where the users will get the money which is generated from the platfrom and the data will always be there as long as the humankind exist. I'm a believer of free society and even if I live in a country where 99% of people don't know about cryptocurrency and the free society theory I'm struggling to make as much people understand as I can.
