You don't have many posts.
You don't have much reputation.
You don't have many followers.
If you really dislike you name, I would suggest you make a new account as soon as possible. Just bite the bullet.
Then make a post in your old account that you are switching to you new account. Power down, send your steem to your new account. And start posting away. Getting your followed back in order, may take a little time with two browser windows open, but not more than 15 minutes.
Now, about changing names in Steem. This is actually the very worst thing that Steem could do. You are building a brand NAME. All that you do is associated with that name. All your followers have name recognition. If you allow changing of names, then you get a whole bunch of people getting sidetracked and lost in the shuffle. You lose people, even when everyone knows you are changing your name, and why you are changing.
Think of a business changing their name. It is a very big deal.
And although it is just a database entry in Steem, it should not be a simple matter to change.
idon'tthinkyoucan ;) only way is to create another account I believe.
Would've been nice to be able to but it would have to cost some steem to prevent abuse.
Hahahahaha! Nice response! Yeah OH WELL.
