Gratitude and Thanks

Every day I meditate on what I'm grateful and thankful for.
Today, being Thanksgiving, I spent a bit more time doing so.

It's easy to get wrapped up in the stress of life, especially during a Bear Market when your finances may not be looking so great.

But I started thinking about where I was a year and a half ago before I joined the platform.
Even with the value of Steem being as low as it is right now, my life is infinitely better than it was before I found the Steem Blockchain.

Here I've found a place to post my music and other creations and actually make money.
Coming from where I was?
That alone is absolutely amazing to me.
What's even more important to me is that I've done well enough on here that I can actually give Steem back to the community each week via contests and donations.

It was always a dream of mine to create music and actually get paid for it.
Prior to joining Steemit I had given up on that dream.
Not only has Steem given me the opportunity to achieve that dream though posting, but I now also have a job creating music for Steem Monsters!
I'm so incredibly thankful to @aggroed, @yabapmatt, all the Steemians who support Steem Monsters, and the Steem Blockchain itself for this opportunity.

I know when the value of Steem drops, people tend to disappear.
I'm grateful for the Steemians who are sticking around during this Bear Market:
Posting every day or every few days, hanging out in Discord communities, playing Steem Monsters, helping other Steemians via curation and promotion, devs who are working on amazing Dapps, and everyone who continues to power up and invest in Steem.

Thanks for being an amazing community.
