Afraid to Live Alone After Breaking Love? It Happens According to Science
When you begin to feel afraid to live alone after breaking up with your lover, be aware of symptoms of "anuptaphobia" or fear of single life.
A paper published in 2013 in the Journal of Pesonality and Social Psychology, Stephanie Spielmann explains that the fear of living alone will strengthen after breaking up with a partner.
That fear is a sign that your relationship is not healthy
Spielmann examines a number of adults in North America and Canada who are on average 30 years old, coming from undergraduate circles, and the general public.
When the fear of single life is strong and uncontrollable, it is likely that someone will be willing to undergo a relationship again, although there is no longer a sense of love for his partner.
Now we understand that the anxiety of being single seems to play a key role in unhealthy relationships.
For those whose fears are large, tend to be interested in using various media or online options to meet new boyfriends or track their ex.
The possible risk is that the new relationship will end worse or a lower quality relationship
