I didn't quite catch the second theory you mentioned, but I do agree all that sell pressure and the price staying somewhat stable is a very good sign.

Ah, thank you. Not sure how I missed that (doing too many things at once, I guess). Frankly, that seems quite ridiculous to me, so you're probably doing a favor to the source by not naming them. The core STEEM developers of the Steemit company are doing the SMT work and you can track the progress here. Exchanges do not get involved in development details of cryptocurrency projects. This was just someone moving their money to somewhere they could diversify it, IMO.

Interesting to see the whales list, what are your thoughts on whales and vote buying? It seems like the current incentive structure is a bit off. I noticed your using promoted atm which seems like an interesting compromise.

Very interesting to say the least. Not that Frito-Lay is my favorite brand, but just that amount moved out of Steemit had no negative impact on the price of Steem, as you so elegantly described. The State of the Steemit ecosystem is Strong!
With Paid in Full in the memo, it would appear as though they paid for services rendered.
Or advertising to be rendered ? Who knows for sure. :)
As long as the price of Frito-Lay Jalapeno Cheese Dip does not increase, I'm fine with it! I'm thinking the advertisers will find a way in sooner than later as it will be hard to ignore the growth here.
I truly hope this doesn't mean we're to see dancing bags of chips beside our posts soon!
