Malek Ibn Dinar (RA) was born in the city of Kufa in Iraq. He came to the Indian subcontinent to spread Islam. Aversion to the world, fear of Allah took the place of his heart. He spent his life worshiping Allah. He is a famous Sufi and Islamic analyst of 2nd Hijri. He went from being a drunkard to a famous imam in the world. A dream changed his life.
One day he was giving a speech in a gathering full of people. At the beginning, an audience asked, I will listen to your speech. Before that answer a question. Ten years ago, I never saw you in a good job except for a drunken, sloppy bad job. But today you change this? In response to the listener's question, he said, "Listen, that day was the night of Shabbat Qadr." Liquor shops in the city were closed. I requested a shopkeeper and went home with alcohol. Couldn't sleep at night without alcohol. That day I entered the house and saw my wife praying. I went to my room silently. I put the bottle on the table. Suddenly my three year old daughter came running. The bottle of wine fell and broke as it hit the table. Seeing that, the stupid girl started laughing. I could not even say anything to her as a girl. I dropped the broken bottle and went to sleep. At best, no more alcohol was consumed. A year has passed since then. Lailatul Qadr came again. As usual I came home with alcohol. Suddenly looking at the bottle of the bottle burst into tears. Because my daughter passed away three months ago. The story of him breaking the bottle last time is flashing before my eyes. I could not drink the wine anymore. fell asleep In the middle of the night I dreamed that a huge snake was chasing me. I am running in fear. At that time I saw a weak old man and requested him to protect me. But the old man said, I am very weak and hungry. I can't with this snake. You should rather go to the right of this mountain. As the old man said, I went up the mountain and saw the fire burning. And that fat ugly snake is coming from behind. I ran right as the old man said. I saw children playing in the beautiful garden. When he wanted to enter the garden, the janitor blocked him. He called the children and said, "Who is this man? The snake will either eat him or throw him into the fire." The children came running at the doorman's words. I saw my daughter who died three months ago. The girl wrapped her right hand in her left hand and slapped the snake in her hand. The snake ran away in fear. I said, mother, how small are you and such a big snake is afraid of you? The girl said, I am a heavenly girl. The serpents of hell fear us. Did you recognize that snake father? I said, no, I did not recognize the snake. Father is your soul. You fed the soul so much that it became strong. I said, a frail old man on the way asked me to come here. who is he The girl said, she is your soul. I never let him eat. So he became weak without eating. Then I woke up. Since that day I have been feeding my soul and stopped soul food altogether. I still see the ghostly form of the spirit when I open my eyes. Then Malek bin Dinar (RA) wept bitterly. He became a great thinker of Islam. His fame spread all over the world.
