Working in Shifts!!
Hi Guys,
I am writing this post direct from my office working in night shift. Today , i would like to lay some stress on the different shifts in which we have to work in offices.
Basically , we have three shifts in our offices to work in:-
- Morning Shift
- Evening Shift
- Night Shift
I will try to point to both the positive and negative effects of all the shifts.
Morning shift:
This shift starts at 6.30 in the morning and ends at 4 in the evening.
It is in this shift ,person is most active and refreshed.
It helps you in making a habit of getting up early in the morning.
You have all the evening to you to run errands and go out with friends
But you have to go to bed early in order to wake up early the next day.
You may feel irritating nature from working early.
Evening shift:
This shift starts at 1.30 in afternoon and ends at 11 at night.
In this shift , you can wake up at your wish in morning(for me , getting more sleep is always a plus)
Some people likes to work during evening as their productivity increases in this shift.
Some companies pay extra to those working in evening shift also.
But, you will reach late to your homes after the shift is over.
Insomnia may happen by working in evening shifts.
Night shift:
This shift starts at 9.30 in night and ends at 7 in the morning.
It is the coolest shift out if three.
You are your own boss.
You get extra money just to wake up during night.
Work pressure is also less as compared to other shifts.
For night owls , this is the best shift.
But, working in nighy shift can cause serious health concerns.
You may loose your night sleep for many days.
Insomnia is also seen to be generally high in people working in nighy shift.
So , you can see all shifts has their boon and banes.But it is a matter of personal choice and nothing more.
