Uploading on DTube Tutorial/Troubleshooting
Hello! Hydroid here. If you're reading this, you're either having trouble uploading to DTube or you don't know how. Just follow this simple guide and you will master it.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
First: Go to DTubes website! (D.tube)
Second: Click that login button (You will need a Steemit account for this and your Private Posting Key, which is found in your settings before logging in)
Third: Once logged in, you can click that upload button!
Fourth: You should see an area like in the picture below. Now, drag the video clip you want to upload into that box!
Fifth: Once you have dragged/put your video into the box, it should start uploading. In the meantime, you can start filling out the title, description and tags!
(Can look like this when title and description and tags are done)
Seventh: Once it is uploaded, it should start encoding. DON'T CLICK SUBMIT OR UPLOAD A THUMBNAIL! IT MAY BREAK THE UPLOAD. (It's happened to me) It's safer to just wait until this part is finished.
Eighth: Once it is uploaded and encoded, now you can upload your thumbnail! You can do so by clicking the Upload Snap button
Ninth: Once the thumbnail is finished uploading and you've finished the title, description, and tags, you're all set to upload your video! Just click that submit button and it will take a few seconds before letting you know you've successfully uploaded a video!
