Great post. Steemit is, first and foremost, a community. Social media, requires people to interact. Commenting on posts written by others is critical, just as important as making your own unique posts. Driving the conversation is the best way to get the community active and to gain followers (which earns more money in the long run)!

That's not to say you should make meaningless comments for the sake of trying to beg for money, but comments that further conversation or provoke thought are necessary!
