All Steem = all mined stake. No stake was created other than through the ninjamine, and inflation thereafter. All stake purchased by investors was purchased from ninaminers.

I haven't pondered that. Maybe we will have to just write because we like writing on an immortal blockchain, and ignore the monetary aspect.
That's what I do. However, it matters to the community, and if it ever got done right, would take over the world, so I don't ignore it in the meta sense. I just ignore my personal finances.
