Everyone has been looking desperately for articles lately, some even come back and comment sometimes, but less and less give un upVote!
Folks, this platform is not "Red Light District", we do not come here to do windowshopping without voting.
If you like her and want to play, pay the lady upfront!
For God's sake, if you want to grow up we all have to vote our articles and help each other. Me, at least give upVotes to those who comment on my articles. It's the least I can do to reward those who upVote me.
People have limited voting power. You can't expect them to vote everything.
I expect to use their power on others, not themselves!
I agree. I've read many arguments in defence of self-voting but I still find it cringeworthy. Of course, everyone is entitled to vote as he pleases and no judgement is intended but I prefer to vote for those who share the love. Here's a handy little 'generosity metre' kindly provided by @andybets

you're absolutely right man , we have to help each other that's why we're here, but i don't know why many people are selfish and wanna earn only , am new here am i upvoted many articles and got 85 followers but the most of them don't even view my post , i always wondering why people tend to vote for the famous ones , when i saw a post got 500 vote with 200 view !! how is that suppose to happen ! in the beginning i tend to spam people because i saw many folks doing the same so i thought that's the way to get followers , when people advice me i stopped doing these nasty comments and started to make appropriate comments trying to engage more , but i still didn't get noticed i really don't know what should i do here to get attention.
can you give me one reason why is it too hard to support someone if you can !!!

I cannot say I agree or disagree. I see both sides of the coin. I know I upvote more than I should. I believe we are only supposed to upvote about 11 posts a day to remain at full upvote power. Many of us try to do more. I am one. In time our votes greatly diminish in value. One cannot upvote every one. I have followed you and will continue to. Sometimes I leave comments instead of upvotes on steemit post. I am not certain if I have done that with you. However comments are invaluable if they are well thought out. If a steemian takes the time out of their busy schedule to comment, I am appreciative. Would I like an upvote too? Sure! Hell yes!!!!!! However I can grow and learn from comments. It tells me also that although they may have not upvoted me I may receive an upvote in the future from them on another post I do... and I am grateful for that. I leave it in God's hands as he will sort it all out.. Sometimes a Steemian will have multiple posts in a day. I will read them all but must decide how many I can upvote and how many I will comment on. I have over 400 followers and about 12 that truly respond regularly to my posts. I have never understood that but perhaps it is not for me to understand. I may window shop on occasion, but at least I am doing that. I try to be very supportive of Steemians here and will continue to. PS: I upvoted and commented.
