Steemit does not tell you who retsteemed your articles

This is a reply left under one of my post. And I kinda agree with it. There is no way to know who resteemed your articles on Steemit, unless you see it by chance. Don't know why the founders of the community did not think about that issue.

For me besides saying thank you and showing appreciation a "resteem indicator" can also be very useful for new members. Knowing how many times your articles have been resteemed, and especially who resteemed you, can help build confidence. God knows how difficult it is to be visible on Steemit for newbies. This could be a way to boost everyone.
Knowing that people appreciate your work is a reward by itself. So let me know what you think in your comments about a "resteem indicator" on Steemit :)
Hey an easy solution would be to utilize eSteem where you can set notifications to hit up your mobile when someone resteems, leaves a comment or votes. Would that work for you?
Well that's not too bad. But I was thinking of something like the share button on Facebook where the community can also see who is interested in your writting. It is good to work in silence, but we must let our success speak for us.
I do agree, good point. Hopefully I've at least provided an alternative that honestly does help keep you aware at least. I mean, I just got the notification from eSteem that you replied. Without that, might've taken me much longer to notice.
But I do love your idea, and we are still in beta so it could always happen!
