A reminder to new users - keeping your account securesteemCreated with Sketch.

This is just a reminder, or a tip for those of you that already don't know, that it is always better to use your posting key (**BUT PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW ABOUT YOUR PRIVATE MASTER KEY) when logging in to post things on SteemIt, especially if you are away from your own computer.

The reason for this is that if someone gets access to your posting key, they will still not be able to transfer funds out of your account or lock you out of it.

You can find your private posting key in "Wallet" under the "Permissions" tab.

Be sure to backup your masterkey (private owner key) safely in a couple of seperate locations as you will need this when doing any wallet operations such as transfering funds, etc.

(**IMPORTANT: Your private master key is NOT shown in the wallet interface. Unless you have already changed it, the private master key is the account password you recieved when you first set up your account. If you lose it you will lose access to your account!)
