Still earning only 1 cent for 1 upvote having 42 steem power?? Help
Hi i can see with new steem account a New user can easily earn 1 cent for his own post upvote but when i have 42 steem power should not i earn at least 2 cent because i saw many accounts recently with almost 1000 steem power their upvote value arround 25 to 30 cent for each upvote.
So i want to address some senior steemers to help me out explain how and why my steem power is not giving good reward thank you all replies will be appreciated.

That's because my voting power was it 60%
This is very bad i think new user have 1 cent power then old must have double at least

I'm interested as well. I have noticed that the amount of steempower needed for a 0.02 vote increases every day. Perphaps someone can help me understand also...
Oh you mean i must have atleast 73 steem power to earn 2 cent for each vote ?

you can check on sttemnow.com. I have watched the 0.02 vote go from 50sp to 73sp.

Even though the new users seem to vote with 0.01 it is not true. It needs to show you 0.01 but in fact you vote with around 0.00009 or around that value, but it will show you 0.01 because the earned value does not show you 5 decimals.
Besides this, New users do not have really little Steem Power because they have the delegated 27 SP. This 27 SP are delegated to new users only for a certain time until you build you own steem power. So you might have the same SP as a new user after a certain time.
I think that is actually not correct. Before hardfork 19 on June 20th all newcomers made 0.00 with their clicks because by then each upvote used 0.5% of the Steem Power and afterwards 2%. So I think when it says 0.01 it actually means that. But then again the vote will lower in value with the overall pool still being going down. We all have to be a bit more patient. In two weeks is the BitCoin SegWit and afterwards the market will stabilize again. By then the Steempool for all our upvotes should have reached equilibrium as well and not sink any further.
