What is happening to the steem price on poloniex? Even weirder is the price of SBD ($6.77)on Hit BTC. Would really love to know the reason.

I would recommend no using poloniex if the coin or token you want is on another exchange
It's probably because it is frozen, so no trades have happened since $6.77 was the current trading price.
