What's funny in a way is that companies like google themselves faced such difficulties in the dotcom boom, and then later in the web 2.0 days. I remember 7 years ago, there were calls to block/ban facebook and twitter because they could spread "discontent". It's ridiculous that these companies are now the ones blocking crypto.
