Here’s my advice for those of you who are just graduating or just starting something:

Go play. Go get lost. Go explore. Don’t prematurely optimize.

If you don't know what you want to pursue, and most people don't, then it's time to discover, not time to begin pursuing something with all your might. That's how you end up hating your job and hating your life. It is very ok to be dirt poor for a while. It is very ok to be broke. Go out, discover, play, take some big risks. Find something that give you more energy than it takes. When you find that, it's a good sign that that is something you should pursue
