About refferal, ....hmm... I neutral about it. That is good idea for us (ordinary user and co-owner). Now, I asking to coders and witnesess could you implement this good ide ? Nice ! :)
Simply tracking it is not hard. Sorting and storing the data in a meaningful way is more complicated and requires some database design... and that stuff gets over my head.
