Top Categories and Tips to make money on Steemit
Hi Steemians
In my first days in Steemit I was always looking at the Trending and Hot pages. Wanted to know about the most famous authors here and what attracts users. Which topics have the highest payouts and more visibility. Which tag is more famous than the other.

I noticed that the most users use the #steemit and #steem where everything related to Steemit is introduced and discussed.
#introduceyourself is also used by many authors and one of the most active tags. It is the place where new users introduce themselves. So if you used the wrong tag and didnt have much success in your first post, do it again! And remember! Dont post more than two introduction posts. If you posted the first one a month ago, you can post the second one after a month.
I see many users posting their introduction every week. Looks crazy! And they dont write enough information about themselves. So dont do the same mistake. Thats called Spamming.
Food, Photography, Life, Travel and Crypto are other famous tags. If you're new to Steemit and a bit desperate. Focus on these tags. Keep writing nice posts, engage in the community and build your reputation. One day you will be rewarded!
If you want to be a successful in Steemit, focus on your success
- Verify yourself by posting your photos
- Do some research about the famous tags and posts.
- Find a way to make your posts more attractive and visible.
- Think of something creative to get some attention.
- Follow the top authors and learn from them.
- Take some time and learn how to write high quality posts.
Top Authors that you can follow
You can check their posts and the way they present everything. If you are a talented chef or want to become! You can check the posts of @gringalicious
