5 killed, 55 injured in building collapse in Philippines

A four-story building collapsed in the central Cebu city of Philippine. At least five workers died and 55 others were injured. The disaster officer said on Tuesday morning that the disaster occurred.

A disaster official said that the accident happened at around 3:00 am at the village of Cebu city. Four of the injured were critically injured. They were sent to the hospital.

He also said that at least 154 workers were sleeping there during the accident. The rescue operation is underway, said the official.
