Steemit Question: Contacting other members?
How do I communicate with another Steemit member to ask permission to use a photo? Do you also get notifications if someone has responded to you? For example, if I find a photo from someone's past post and I reply to that post to ask permission to use the photo, do I get a notification somewhere of a response?
Still trying to figure out how to best use this platform. :)
I'm still new myself so I can't really tell you what's the best way to do those things but if you go to http://steemtools.com/ there are different apps and websites. I can't offer much help other than that, I'm pretty sure there was one for communicating with other users and maybe there is one to get better notifications.
Thanks for pointing to additional apps. I didn't realize that was needed. I'm not as tech savvy as some people. Still getting up to speed to best share.
Yeah, hope it helps. I checked just now and there's Steemit.chat and Steemfriends... but I've never used them so can't give you any details really!
