I am not familiar with i2p eepsite but I know Tor is not completely anonymous too and inside the Tor network there are nodes owned by certain governments that are deeply involved in the Dark Web.

I don't really like those two articles. I've spent a great deal of time using Tor hidden services and eepsites. I'm not that up to date with infosec news at the moment, but a Tor hidden service is a site hosted with a .onion extension and they tend to be very private. Duckduckgo and facebook have tor hidden services which allows people in China and Iran to make use of them even though these two sites are blocked in most totalitarian regimes.
