President Trump just announced that he will impose more Tariffs on goods made in China, with many of those Tariffs beginning next Monday. The first round of Tariffs will escalate to 25% on the first of the New Year.

So, let's break this down a little bit.

Trump imposes Tariffs on a Chinese made item that you want or need.... We'll call it an E-Widget.
This Tariff is levied as the E-Widget comes across the US Border.

The importer must pay the US Customs Agency a 25% Tariff on each and every E-Widget.
This is supposedly crafted to hurt those dirty "Slant Eyed Commies"....

And Make 'Murika great again!!!

Bummer.

Anyhow.... The "Importer" passes this added cost to his business along to the "Distributor" who then passes it along to China Mart, (WalMart) which then raises the price to cover it's additional costs.

So... In the End..... Who pays the additional 25% to cover the cost of the Tariff???? ----- The Consumer... YOU!

Who gets the Money that you wind up paying for this Tariff??? ----- The US Government!!!

Money is seized on a good that you must buy - By the Government, and it comes out of YOUR wallet.
Wait...... Wut??? What is that???

A TARIFF IS NOTHING MORE THAN A SALES TAX ON WHAT YOU BUY FROM THESE FOREIGN COUNTRIES!

It doesn't bring E-Widget manufacturing back to 'Murika! We don't have the factories anymore to make them. It would take an unimaginable amount of money to get the US's decrepit factories back into production.

Who would pay for this renovation???? In the end it would be you, through higher prices!!!

The imposition of this new TAX won't create new jobs!!! Who will work at these newly renovated state of the art E-Widget factories???

So.... A MASSIVE new tax has been placed on the goods that YOU buy every Day, and the money for this tax comes out of YOUR WALLET. It won't stop the flow of E-Widgets coming from China (Or Aluminum from Canada, or Steel from Europe.) We need these products to keep the 'Murikan economy rolling. We can no longer make them ourselves.

This tax wasn't debated in Congress, it isn't being talked about on your Cable News Channel, the "Wool is being pulled over your eyes!!!"

Somehow - Many Americans look at this, and think how wonderful it is???

It's no wonder that Politicians like Tariffs so much!!!

They can talk about how wonderful it is that they are looking out for you..... All the while their hand is in your pocket!!!

It doesn't matter whether it's the tiny Red Dot, or the tiny Blue Dot that want's control over your life!!!
