How to Make Money With Steemit

After nine months here I have finally seen some ways of constantly making money here, one is to just go with what is trending at the moment and you get a lot of upvotes and probably some good money, for example right now if you posted something about the BTCC  vote you would make it good, just look and you'll see there are dozens of articles just saying, hey Steemians vote for Steem we just have to beat ETC and we're in. These kinds of posts all get a lot of votes, of course as always the money depends on who votes for you, if you've got a whale or a few dolphin votes you are great. Another way is to write articles agreeing with what a lot of people think, like for example there are a lot of Libertarians and Anarchists here, just read up on these subjects and write articles that praise these two and you are also assured of votes, probably more here because apparently most of the bigger voters like these ideas.

Another area is conspiracy theories, bashing someone with some weird ideas that have no backing but still these seem to get a lot of attention. And of course the other one is putting the blame for everything on governments everyone seems to like this one, probably because you don't have to lie to do it.

But overall, the way to make money here is to find the topics most people like and just lay a lot of praise on these topics, you will make money this way. That is the reason I don't make much money, I question everything and when something seems like it's BS I just look it up and if it's not true I just write it out, that way is the wrong way if you want to make money, all I get is some angry comments explaining why I am a blind slave and should get my head out of my ass. But you see I don't believe anarchy is the solution to anything, libertarians have some good ideas but are so radical anything they don't see as libertarian is bad. I am not a religious person, I do believe in a creator but I also answer people who think they know the answers to God, nobody knows these answers, so I alienate them also, the thing is if I write about my ideas I get a big fat zero on Steemit.

So if you want to make money you just have to learn to go with the flow, lie, say you are with whatever is trending and you will make money, there is nothing wrong with that except if you are morally opposed to lying, but let's face it everyone lies every once in a while. I will continue questioning everything, because apart from everything it gives me the opportunity to get in some good debates with people some of whom are better informed than I and of course a few others who frankly just have weird ideas. I would lie if I told you I don't want to make money here but I am comfortable the way I am and I do make a little Steem every day so I figure if  Steemit keeps going some day I will have a nice amount of money here. In the mean time do as I say look for what the majority like and write articles agreeing with this.

True, but I actually didn't expect to make any money from this site. I would only use steemit like reddit, not as a money source.

Well that's another thing, but if you do post you will probably make something perhaps just a little, which I think is good.

It suggests the reward system is structured to create conformity. Nice point. To be a fully fledged alternative position, it has to identify a better, more reasonable option. How is weak, poorly constructed, or even deluded or deceptive content to be identified if not by rejection consensus? I think your point is valid, but I am at a loss to describe a filter for it that would be effective.

This is an ongoing problem, we all have to work on it, your ideas are as good as everyone's, every day I see good ideas out there.

It's not all about making money. Integrity is important. If you really don't believe in something and the idea could be harmful for society or even personal mental health and you strengthen those ideas to make a few dollars it's really not worth it, is it?

Personally I think the world would be a better place if people didn't feel comfortable with lying just because everyone else does it. A world with honor, where everyone represents themselves with honesty is a world that has fixed many of the problems we currently face.

Money isn't everything and success, in my opinion, is measured by how true you are to yourself and what you do with the opportunities you are given.

Of course in a perfect world the people are perfect. I know I'm certainly, definitely not. But I think we can try harder to bring out the highest virtues in one another.

Yes, but that's an ideal world, good luck with that. By the way I write only what I want I don't bow down to any one, and I will debate anything with anyone, in fact I'll tell you one I hate this flagging crap and I have constantly written against it, but what I wrote there is simply the truth you want to make money on Steemit you forget your ideals and kowtow to the ones who have the power, you know, like in the real world.
