From 75.000 Users to 750.000 in two weeks. My contribution
We all can make it. It´s not that difficult.
I´ve been experiencing Steemit for one month and I have to say it´s been really fun.
As soon as I joined and started interacting and writing I realized how amazing this can become. I understood the philosophy behind all of this.
The value is the content.
After couple of weeks I started talking about steemit to my family and closer friends. No, I´m not a famous youtuber with 100k followers. It´s just me bringing real talented people.
So far so good.
This is the people that have joined due to my recommendation.
They are all bringing value to Steemit in form of writing, music or art.

One become Two----> Two become Four----> Four become Eight
P.S Five friends are about to join. Three web designers, a CEO from a Swedish tech company, and a composer from L.A.
That is the best way to build your community around you. Bring in people you know! :)
Yes I agree
Great Idea , I myself got 4 members of my friends and family here :)
Yes, that's a good idea. Friends will also become followers. I didn't use the follow feature very much here in the beginning, but I'm seeing the value in filtering out lesser content - something we'll have to do as the volume increases.
The followers are so important for the visibility
I gave out bitcoin giveaways to users on another forum I frequent to come visit the site, but unfortunately the ~20 people I brought in didn't stay. They peeked around, commented on my stuff, then never saw them here again. I'm going to try a different approach, bring in people one by one
It seems you have an impressively high success rate of convincing people. I'd be curious to hear your approach. Or do you think it's just the type of people you know?
I've been always good at convincing people but in this case is not dificult since Steemit is an amazing product and Im aproaching people I know very well. Id say the most dificult part is to convince them that they can make real money. In some cases i had to show the bank extract with some little cashout I made as a proof. Btw i love ur videos!
Yeah that money element tends to be such a sticking point. I'm not surprised you had to take such drastic steps. People might benefit from a post where you demonstrate how to convince people. After all, if they're going to bring in 10 people, they need to know what to say to those people which will convince them to join :). Your success might be blinding you to the fact that you have a talent that other people do not have. I, for example, am NOT very good at convincing people, haha. I've gotten a few people to sign up and everyone seems super into it when I'm there, but then their interest starts to fade. Maybe it's because they need to see that hard proof that they can actually make money. Basically they need to be educated on how crypto has value which is such a massive hurdle. Showing the bank extract is actually a pretty brilliant way of solving that problem. But if you could develop a quick "how to" guide, that could be immensely valuable.
Thanks! Hopefully a new one coming out today ... Just have to write it and shoot it :/
Thats a good idea. I'll try to put something together with the key things i consider most important in order to convince people to join and how i did it
Networking in Steemit, as much as in real live, is key for success.
Pero si eres tú el culpable de la mayoría de personas que leo en español!!
Heheheh vamossss
Hi Manu! Well, I'm not a biologist, a professional pianist, a journalist or a 14-year-old girl jajajaja, but I'm here because of you so you can add me to that list if you like ;)
Oh, and you didn't show me any bank extract xD
Por supuesto, te sigo. A ti también @martaspn :)
Ey nelyp!! Al final te hiciste la cuenta hehehe, awaiting for ur first post !!
