US Pension Funds are a "mess" --- major problems to occur -- time to diversify your savings into Crypto's

in #steemit8 years ago

There is now way that pension funds will "not collapse", simple demographics and the all time high markets can't even keep the funds funded. A financial collapse will occur IMHO. The simple reason is the funds are "underfunded severely" and require a miracle in contributions (like a tax bail out) or all recipients will receive a 30-50% haircut in payouts.

It is indeed a national crisis that will affect workers and savers.  The  US pension funds cannot keep their promises to the wave of retirees.  Americans are hard at work believing their pensions will be keep them safe in retirement.

Some people think that the plans "pay too much" --- this makes it extra hard to get a tax bail out.

This and much much more I am afraid....

People need to realize they have to look out for themselves. If by some miracle pensions, 401ks, social security, etc manage to survive then that's icing on the cake, but it would truly take a miracle that defies the laws of arithmetic. Diversifying into precious metals and cryptocurrencies is essential and even then, it's a good idea to diversify your diversification. By that I mean, don't hold all PMs in one location and have a hard wallet for storing cryptos, such as Trezor or Nano, or at least a paper wallet.

true...this is "game theory time"...the "dark side" has an agenda they know what is too happen and they are counting down. Pensions, IRA and even bak funds are at risk if the right "chair is pulled" -- they want change on a global level --- and the dollar is the one to watch.
