A Brief about a R&B Legend (R-KELLY)

His real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly who was born on Jan 8, 1967. He is an American Singer, song-writer, record producer, and a former profession basketball player. He was a native of chicago and began performing in the late 80's and he debuted in 1982 with the group PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT. In 1993, he went solo with the album 12 play. R-kelly songs collections of hit include Bump N Grind, Your Body's Callin, I believe I can fly, Gotham City, Ignition(Re-mix), If I could turn back the hands of time, the world's greatest, I'm a flirt(Remix),and the hip-hopera.
He won 3 Grammy awards for I believe I can fly. He was the first musician to play professional basketball when he was signed in 1997. His style and sound has influenced numerous hip-hop and contemporary R&B artists both abroad and all over. R-kelly was recognised in United States with 40 million albums sold as well as the only fifth black artist to crack the top 50 of thr same list. In march 2011 R-kelly was named the most successful R&B artist of the last 25years by Billboard.
