The Steem block-chain has some drawbacks, like the distribution of Steem where it's verry hard for newer users to get started on this platform.
Because of this it get's harder and harder for the 'new blood', to step in. Thus at some point inflation will be needed to keep the reward system dynamic and fair.
This in my opinion is Steem' biggest obstakel: "how to make sure that writers get decent rewards for their articles, while allowing room for new users
thats true steemit is kinda a place where the newers and the newbies does have trouble during the startings but the community should allow some room for the new users
