its is your reputation and an other word its your rank or class
its is increase by getting vote or you can also buy. when you create new post you select these option see in picture
its depand on you what you want to earn steem power or steem dollars
an other way convert steem dollar into steem power like this
If you want hurry then go to the market and you can buy steem and then power select power up in this way you can get steem power like this

What is voting power

If your steempower is increase your voting power also increase you your steempower 60 and your voting power on 100% you can vote any post and give 5 cent if your voting power down like 80% you vote worth also down its may be like 3 to 4 cent
