Chicken Lights

Real Purty ain't they?
................................................................................................................................................................................

Do they make the truck run any better? Make any more money?

no and no.

actually the reverse. Before the age of LED's the burnt out all the time and were an added source of maint. Damn expensive and were a YUGE drain on the electrical system.

Looked purty though...and worthless.

SO

My question is...why are the Devs busily coming up with new and different chicken lights for Steemit?

that little arrow box... for example, right next to the nauseating puke colored link.
What good is it? We already KNOW that's a link.

Steemit hasn't been running to well these last few days...
The editor is full of bugs....for example no longer works the same way that it did at one time.

Some times the doesn't work at all, at all.

The sort order for comments...

has got a serious bug in it.

the scroll up/scroll down speed in the editor is not the same as it used to be...now it's a TWO speed..whether I want it to be or not....

and I could go on and on... serious stuff in broke and needs to be fixed..

and they waste time on chicken lights?

Really?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Sort:

I'm not having steemit probs - yesterday or today ....so far.

I think the truckers light would be better if mandatory.

No surprises in the rear view mirror - and it's cheerful...

anything which is not mandatory is prohibited.

yeah.....but dogs still can't look up

..I rest my case...lol

never seen a magnetic dog before...stuck to the side of a wall

They are experts in assembly of false political and media shows; they simply do not practice what they preach; they do not really identify with anything, nor do they want anyone. They are a plague; where they arrive, leave pain, destruction and trash.

Now that one pic of the chicken lights, thats what I call a babe magnet! Yep very purdy...and way more purdy than what they are doing on steem I guess.
Everytime I type certain words they change into something else???
The puke green is maybe the real reason @dan went on to create EOS? lol...awe..its all good, now it feels we are all in double beta stage...don't tell me this code change is just cosmetic, if it is, the pig was doing just great until someone tried to put lipstick on it.
If thats your rig all dressed up, truly purdy...I don't see any puke green lights...and thats a good thing.

I doubt that the change in the UI/Steemit/Condenser are the reason why @dan left Steemit Inc. It's just a random guess, I may be wrong :D

just a kind way of saying, one could have picked purdier color, but when @everittdmickey post something like this, it brings the smart ass in me out, and the inspiration to say so;)) good comments, good post.
Im a classified a plankton for gods sake, what do I know?
Lol

Thank you, I am just a minnow that is trying to help by bringing information where I can. Steemit Inc. in my opinion is not so good yet at communicating with their customers/us, but they are just a start-u that went very fast from barely nothing to a company that is worth millions of dollars so I can understand that they have a hard time getting used to manage all of this.

Yes, I understand, I feel @ned and his team are working to Polish the interface up and exterminate the bugs, I love Steemit and I have said many times I am grateful to have found this growing baby genius of block chain platform. I'm in it for the long haul, sounds like you are too.
Can't wait for it to take its first big baby steps,
thank you for the conversation!

The editor has a lot of errors, it is also a problem to justify the text and sometimes some images in the middle of the publication are placed as a cover, sometimes I don't understand its almost random way of working.

I trust that most of these errors will only exist in the beta. Although I don't know until when the beta will last.

"chicken lights", that's a new one for me.... I like it. :)

Why I think that the short development that they did with links is good or more than good is because of a security reason, which is something really important on a platform like this. It just warns you that a specific link is going to take you to a different site, so you can know from the beginning that you are going to leave Steemit if you click on it. I find this more than important! Here is a short example:

Let's say that I am into phishing and I want to catch some guys over here with a post where I use a link like this but pointing to a site with an interface that is similar to a Steemit page with a post that I am trying to share in my article. Without this recent small development, people would be tempted to believe that they are still on Steemit, but somehow they are logged out, and when they will try to log in, they will lose their keys. That simple it is!

You may say that this is stupid and who is falling for this is a fool, but this is why sites like steewit.com and steemil.com exists. I am sure that they have caught a lot of people by now and that it is possible they will catch more in the future.

This development reduces the risk of phishing and also of accessing sites that contain malware a lot, and I don't believe this introduced a lot of new bugs. It is just my opinion, but there is a great chance that I may be right.

who knew?
where are the instructions that tell us that what it's doing?

I have written a blog post about it. Actually all that is implemented is documented on the condenser's github. And I guess because they are developing really fast, they can't make an announce every day with the small improvements. Of course, as in every development project, implementing new functionalities can break other things, unfortunately.

Certainly, I have also had problems, especially to publish, the screen goes blank as hanging and after a while you can work, that happened to me today in the morning. Now I wonder: It will not be possible for the developers working on the platform to do a post where they communicate about what they are working on and the improvements that are expected to be obtained? We are in Steemit, it is very easy to communicate.

Some sweet looking tractors with the Purdy lights, always admired the really lit up rigs. Steemit has been so sloooow the last few days. The old adage if it ain’t broke don’t fix it comes mind. I guess the powers to be know what is best;)

yup, they moved around the stupid search icon but if you actually click on it the other icons go all wonky in the home page, I was wondering what the hell that arrow was and where it came from, I kept thinking I messed something up.

Is like the system will find a way out
