Actually that's a brilliant idea. Steemit owners could even take it a step further and reward people who resteem articles as well. For example if I resteem your article and one of my followers clicks on the link, goes to your article and ends up upvoting it, I could get a small percentage, like 5 or 10%. This may encourage more people to share good articles which are under-rewarded.
