Distribution of Users Computer Skills

In the US only 5% of computer users have a "level 3" ability with computers as described by a "strong understanding". What is more alarming is the 40% of adults that cannot use a computer (26%) and the adults that can only complete very simple tasks considered below level 1 skill (ex. “Delete this email message” in an email app. - 14%). This obviously leaves ~55% of adults with a poor or medium proffciency level with computers (level 2 and 3 respectivley). I believe this 55% of all adults is the audience steemit needs to target for this community to really get some momentum. Because I believe steemit once understood is a relativley simple concept and has an incentive structure which makes it an obvious choice for media consumers. Id like to have a discussion on how we could go about this below, but I believe the best way is to tell people you know who you think would enjoy it anyways thats my 2 cents.
