Shall christians practice euchrist?

I will try to dispute one of catholicism practices and that is euchrist. They claim that the bible teaches us to eat a bread that which is transmuted to flesh and we are supposed to drink win which then will get transmuted to jesus blood. Let’s read what the bible has to say about this. We will start to read at the beginning of that chapter of which catholics uses.

In john 6:22 it states the following “ 22 On the next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away alone. 23 Other boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. 24 So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.”

Jesus got famous by magically creating bread out of heaven and give it to people which attracted many people at that time, especially those who were poor. To keep in mind of this story of jesus creating bread out of heaven correlates to the story of exodus 16: 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not. 5

When they were in the wilderness, they did not have food and such so they starved untill God gave them bread. Keep that in mind while we are reading through the bible.

25 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?” 26 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. 27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.

so here is jesus talking about not seek food that can perish but food that endures etnernal life which son of man will give you. so this do not talk about physical bread it talks about something else. so jesus is talking about non physical food that will give us enternal life. let’s continue on.

28 Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” 30 S

Here it is talking about our faith in christ.That our ultimatum is to trust our lord jesus christ.

30 So they said to him, “Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32 Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

This verse is very intressting because jesus is claiming something big here. The person asked jesus how should we trust him then talked about exodus 14:6. Then Jesus says it was not moses but God that gave the bread of heaven . and here he is saying that it is God who is the bread that came down to give life keep in mind back then in exodus where people where starving and God gave them bread that sustained them. that’s what jesus means.

34 They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 3

here is jesus proclaiming to be God or that bread that fell from heaven from God. then he is saying who ever abide in jesus christ will not be hungry which means that they will not hunger for righteoussness matthew 5:6

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied”

also when you are in christ you will not be thirsty as this verse claims john 4:14”
But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Spring of water is mentioned in isiah. here what this has to say what spring of water isisiah 58:11”
And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”

so water represent the holy spirit, and it will be give tho whose who wants to have the holy spirit because the holy spirit makes our strong we are like a watered garden which is reference to one of jesus parable which is "parable of sow".(Matthew 13)

36 But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

this talks about jesus came here not for his own will but the will of his father so who ever abides in him will have eternal life.

41 So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” 42 They said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?” 43 Jesus answered them, “Do not grumble among yourselves. 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

The jews at this point begun to be very concern that jesus claims to be someone that comes from heaven. but jesus explains that no one goes to the father except through him

. 45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ ’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me—46 not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.47 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 4

Here is jesus talking about he is the only person that understands our father in heaven but those who will believe in him will have eternal life.

48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Here is jesus talking that he is the real bread of life because israelites that ate these bread from heaven died. but jesus is the real bread that comes down from heaven. He is the real bread that if you eat it you will not die. then he is saying, the bread that i will give of the world is my flesh. which is talking about of him coming to a sinful flesh and became sacrificed.

52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Jesus is now declaring that inorder to have life you need to eat jesus flesh and drink his blood. The quesiton arises is this what he meant?

Luke 22:19-20
19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.[a]

john 2:19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

this means that Jesus gave the bread and his bread represent the temple which is his body. then he spread these piece of the bread but of the same bread which have an signifiiance because we are part of God’s temple.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
.

so when they shared these pieces of bread means that they are in union because they are all part of body of christ right? then he said that the blood represent a “new covenant” when he sacrificed him self.

john 6:54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him

Back in john it tells us do not focus on food that is physical but focus on food that will give you an eternal life. and here is jesus repeating it. Remember that jesus said that the bread symbolizes his “flesh” and we know that blood symbolizes the new covenant but also the holy spirit. Because we know that water or thirst symbolises holy spirit. He says in verse 56 “who ever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and i in him”. so who ever get the eternal life and holy spirit will have jesus in his life. let’s see if i’m correct or wrong.

57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread[c] the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” 59 Jesus[d]said these things in the synagogue, as he taught at Capernaum.

Jesus in this verses are confirming my theory. He says that father sent him and that he live because of him. and now he is explaining what eating the flesh means. he says that whoever eats bread will have an eternal life which means that the bread represent life. He also said that the bread or flesh is not the same as their fathers ate. In conclusion bread represent life the eternal life.

60 When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”61 But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this? 62 Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life

the disciples ponder on what he said. They did not understand what he said.Then jesus says that it is the spirit who gives life But jesus then went on to say “ the words that i have spoken to you are spirit and life”. So now we know that jesus meant spirit and life and not actuall flesh and blood.

let’s say if jesus actually meant flesh and blood and not spirit and life wouldn’t the disciples wonder why they would eat his body and drink his blood? and no they did not answer in that way

66 After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. 67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

here is peter answer him we know you have the words of eternal life and we believed and have come to know that he is God.

so peter knew that it wasn’t his flesh or blood. but that jesus christ is the word of the eternal life. The bread came from heaven and the word was in the beginning and the word came in flesh. and when jesus christ died he gave us his blood in other words he gave us the holy spirit.

that is why jesus said this in his prayer :Matthew 6:11 11 Give us this day our daily bread,

This means that God should give us the words of God, to give us a better understanding of God’s nature. That is why it is very important to study the bible because the bible is the word of God. The bible is the food that you need. If you don’t eat you will starve and your heart will start to crumble and at the end rotten. That is why it is good to feed your self everyday. Don’t eat bad food because you will have problem with your own stomach then you will throw it up and realise that this is crap. God bless to whom that eats the holy food and drink the holy water.

In conclusion:
The bible did not teach us to eat flesh and blood but to study his own words and to get the holy spirit within you. Top of that, cannabalism is strictly forbidden in the bible especially to drink blood. I will let this chapter sink in to your mind.

By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin,[c] he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus[d] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
